Your Career Coach provides a comprehensive service to help insurers and claimants determine return to work motivation, readiness and job search strategy.
Your Career Coach can offer the expertise that comes from 15 years experience in employment and career transition services. Our team has worked with many hundreds of individuals and companies affected by restructuring, resizing, mergers and acquisition.
Claimants are assisted through the maze of possibilities with a coach who proactively manages, facilitates and coordinates their return to work or rehabilitation goal in a cost effective and timely manner.
Our success has determined a package which can be tailored to include:
- A Vocational Assessment - After a meet and greet, the Harrison Assessments tool is recommended for accurate feedback of not only job suitability and matching to career options but also readiness, level of self-awareness and motivation. From the reports the coach, insurer and the client can determine the next steps.
- Transferrable Skills Analysis - Focus on what is possible and probable. Look at the reality of preferred choices, their transferrable eligibility, the job market and potential openings in the industry and local area.
- Prepare a Career and Action plan using resources matched to the client's needs. Typical decisions that can be made at this juncture can include re-training or study, adjust the rehabilitation goal/timeline and job search.
- Job Readiness Coaching - Develop resume, provide interview practice, job search strategies including networking, and engender confidence through the 'absence' story. Additional resources are provided for each topic.
